In 2018 Debbie French continued her record breaking streak with over $29 Million sold, breaking her personal record and the Johnson Monroe record for sales for the third year in a row.  In addition to being the #1 agent in waterfront listings sold 2015-2018*, Debbie was the #3 agent overall in total volume sales at Cedar Creek Lake in 2018,  which included all property types—waterfront, off water, acreage and commercial (according to HCBOR MLS).  During her over 14 years as a Realtor® at Cedar Creek Lake, Debbie has sold over $143 Million in properties and successfully represented over 500 Buyers and Sellers.

Debbie began her real estate career in 2005 with but one goal- to provide her clients with the highest level of customer service in the industry. What Debbie lacked in experience, she made up for in hard work. As a result, she was recognized in her first year as the Henderson County and Johnson Monroe's "Rookie of the Year" selling more dollar volume than any rookie in the history of the company.

Debbie reflects, "In the early years, when I had an opportunity to represent a buyer, I would spend the days prior to our initial visit previewing the homes and the neighborhoods in which they had expressed an interest. I did the same when working with potential sellers. Prior to our initial meeting, I researched the market so that I could provide them with a realistic price range in which they could expect to sell their homes. Several of my first listings came from driving neighborhoods looking for "For Sale By Owner" properties and knocking on their doors. 

I felt then, and still feel today, that agents have a fiduciary responsibility to serve the needs of their clients to the absolute best of their ability. Despite my lack of experience, I was going to make sure my clients got the service they deserved. I strive today, as I did when I started back in 2005, to make all my clients feel as if they are my only client.

What I provide for my Buyers: Purchasing a property at Cedar Creek Lake is very different from purchasing property in a metropolitan area. Because there are so many variables to know and consider when purchasing waterfront property, for your protection you should work with a LOCAL agent who has a proven track record of success in representing buyers here at the lake. As your buyer agent, I understand the importance of listening and understanding your criteria, but also asking questions that you may not have considered in purchasing lake property.  This information will help you better understand how to prioritize your “wish list,” and help me tailor the selection of properties that best meet your needs.  The usual websites buyers use to search for properties in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area are of little use here at the lake. There are over 300 subdivisions around the lake—each with their own unique qualities and some of the best subdivisions not on the “beaten path” so just driving around by yourself will not only drive you crazy but is not the best use of your time. Just driving around without the direction of a knowledgeable agent means you could possibly miss the homes and areas that best suit your needs, and lead you to the mistaken conclusion the lake does not offer the properties and amenities you are looking for.  Purchasing a home is a large investment and buyers have a right to be “picky.” I am patient with buyers and will work within their timeframe—whether it takes a day or a year to find the property that meets your needs. Also, please keep in mind that I can show any listed property at Cedar Creek Lake regardless of listing company or agent.
